So, when I arrived to China I was comfused what PRC CHINA and SAR CHINA was. I had to dig a little deeper into this matter, because it was a hell of a mess, and not a single person actually understood what the hell was going on down in the south of China. Even if i ask people from Mainland China, Hong Kong or Macau, not a single person could answer what it really is. They only know what SAR, PRC and CCP stand for.
PRC stands for Peoples Republic of China and PRC is runned by the CCP, the Central Communist Party, which also decide about 50% of the SAR regions, Special Administrative Regions, such as Macau and Hong Kong. Both Macau and Hong Kong has been collonies. Macau belonged to the Portugese and Hong Kong to the Britts during many years, but in the end of the 1900, during the year 1998 (or something similar) the britts released HK to PRC. HK and MC both has their own governments, but the PRC flag will always be on the highest top of these SAR regions because PRC and CCP lead 50% of these regions.
Now I released how complicated this sounds. Let us tear it down in pieces instead to make it easier.
It all started with the Britts. They had a huge trade with China about Tea (Those Britts and their Tea), But in the end, they didnt have any money left so the britts started to do som massive illegal shit and sell archenic of the black market to chinese traders and people started to die. The chinese emperor during that time was like: HEY! WE NEED TO SEE WHERE ALL THIS SHIT COME FROM! LETS TRACK IT DOWN. they eventually succeded to track it down, and got to know it was the Britts which sold it, and they became angry (No, more like: SUPER PISSED OFF), and "BOOM-BAAAM-PIUU-PIUU-BOOM-BAM" and there was an "archenic war".
After the war China and the Britts became friends and the Britts said: - EY, DUED, EMPEROR! WE WOULD LIKE TO USE THIS SMALL STONEY AREA TO BUILD SOMETHING. The chinese was like "ah, stupid bitches, there are just some damn rocks there, but OK! They can take it". The emperor let UK open up a colony of Britts there for international trade in Asia, and it became a blooming market, The britts ruled it for 99 years and then they were like: FUCK THIS, WE DONT WANT YOU GUYS ANYMORE. WE WILL GIVE ALL OF YOU HONGKONGERS TO CHINA, and they did.
HK already had their own government rules and laws and was running as their own country, but the Chinese didnt mind that. The saw the opportunity to make HK a SAR state (Special Administrative Region) to earn a lot of money while bussines was blooming and taxation money went to both PRC and HK SAR.
Today HK SAR is an administrative state to the chinese government and since the release from the Britts, HK has lived in fear of loosing their human rights and freedom of speach. Everyone born before 1997 still has a UK passport and are UK citizens, but after the release they have a HK SAR passport, which says they are from the country Hong Kong but they are citizents of the PRC and ruled by the CCP.
Litterally we can say that HK has become a police runned state within trade, traveling and visas for Mainland PRC CHINAS security and nothing more. PRC CHINAS major cities blooming tech market has overcome the income from the HK region and now thay have the plan of tearing down the borders within 40 years after the Britts release. They have already started with this type of plan by building the worlds longest bridge which is 55km long between PRC Mainland to HK SAR, and a bus ticket cost 58 RMB (equal to 70 SEK).
SUMMARY:
HK SAR is an Administrative Economical Zone which has their own government, flag and passport. They operate under the law of the CCP but has open borders for all nationalities for International trade and security meassures for the PRC.
Its so much more PC information which can be written down, but its way to much.
